        About This Remedy

Sometimes life presents situations that overwhelm a horse's ability to cope in the moment. Accidents, storms, veterinary procedures, injuries, sudden change and other unexpected events can trigger intense fear, shock or emotional distress, leaving the horse feeling unsettled long after the event itself has passed.

Crisis Calm has been carefully formulated to provide immediate emotional support during these moments. Similar to Bach Rescue Remedy®, this blend has been designed as a natural first-response remedy for emotional wellbeing. It helps encourage calmness, grounding and a return to emotional balance when a horse is experiencing acute stress or overwhelm.

Crisis Calm can be used immediately during or after the event or in the hours and days that follow and supports recovery from emotional shock, helping horses regain a sense of safety, stability and composure.

For The Horse: "I am safe. The danger has passed. My body, mind and spirit can return to calm."

        Suitable for Horse & Rider

This blend can support both horse and rider during sudden stress, shock or emotionally overwhelming situations, helping encourage calmness, emotional stability and clearer decision-making when it is needed most. Many owners find it valuable to keep on hand as part of their horse's first-aid and wellbeing toolkit.

        Why we created this remedy

We recognise that unexpected events can affect a horse emotionally as well as physically. Moments of fear, shock or overwhelm can leave a lasting impression if the horse is unable to return to a state of calm and safety.

Crisis Calm was created to provide immediate emotional support during these times. Inspired by the role that emergency essence blends have played in natural wellbeing systems for decades, this remedy helps support horses through acute stress while encouraging grounding, emotional balance and a calmer recovery once the immediate danger has passed.

Many of the horses who later benefit from remedies such as Trauma Release, Grief & Loss, Healing & Recovery or Travel Support may first benefit from Crisis Calm during the initial event itself. It is designed to be the remedy you reach for when emotional support is needed right now.

        How to use

Add 7 drops or 3 sprays directly into the horse's mouth, onto feed or into drinking water at least twice daily.

Remedies can also be applied topically by dropping or spraying into hand and gently wiping on poll, top of wither and top of rump.

During times of increased emotional stress or significant change, remedies may be used more frequently as needed.

For best results, use consistently for a minimum of 3–4 weeks.

Suitable for horses of all ages and disciplines.
